Yaa Pono buys new toy.

Ghanaian rapper signed under HighGrade Family records, Yaa Pono has bought a toy to his fleet of cars. The 'Bibi nti' hit maker has often been criticized for being too “underground” and not living up to his commercial potential. That Yaa PONO’s biggest hits do not get much airplay, even though he is one of the most popular live performers in Ghana today. “Faster than Gods” album is Yaa PONO’s first release since his increased popularity, and Yaa PONO says that it is time that he gives his audience songs that are more radio friendly. He may have built his reputation as a battle rapper, but it is time to utilise his strengths as a singer and commercial artist. Showbiz is really paying as fellow act, Guru recently bought a G - Wagon AMG Model and now Yaa Pono adding Mercedes Benz 550 to his fleet of cars. Congrats bro 

Ponobiom speaks after Kasoa brouhaha

Uptown Energy Boss, Yaa Pono has finally reacted to the unfortunate harm his rivalry (Shatta Movement Family) did to his manager, Ashley Brobbey.  GhNewsFilla carried the news while Ponobiom was performing, some young men mounted the stage to slap his manager who was also on stage at the moment. Shatta Wale commends kasoa fans who slapped Yaa Pono .

The manager of Ghanaian rapper, Ponobiom, Ashley Brobbey was reported to have been assaulted at Kasoa Sallah Festival last Monday, GhNewsFilla gathered. According to the MC of the show, Dan Lartey, who also works with Flex newspaper, while Ponobiom was performing, some young men mounted the stage to slap his manager who was also on stage at the moment. Their reason was that they were not happy Ponobiom was singing ‘Gbee Naabu,’ a diss song directed at dance hall artiste Shatta Wale who has a standing beef with Ponobiom. MzVee debunks marrying rumours.

For those of you who think marriage is the first on female dancehall act,  Mzvee's  scale of preference you have beat around the bush.  The 2016 BET Best African International Act nominee for Ghana, has said in a recent interview marriage is the least thing she worries about and that she rather focus on her career which is currently booming rather than think of marriage which will slow her down and prevent her from reaching her goals.
“I  will settle down one day but certainly not now. As and when it comes I don’t mind but certainly, not now,” she said. The ‘Daavi' singer made this statement in a phone in  interview with Hitz FM’s MzGee last Friday when she organized a free health screening exercise for people in her home town in the Volta region to mark her birthday.
