Fast rising Ghanaian female act, Ebony has denied rumours that she is into homosexuality. The "poison" hitmaker debunked the claims doing an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM on Thursday June 8, 2017. There have been rumours on social media that the Poison hit maker was a homosexual. Responding to the claim, she said: “Yes, I have heard and seen on social media that I’m a lesbian, but I’m not, I like boys. I’m sure they say same about other female artistes.” She noted that she did not know why people would assume she was a lesbian as she is happily dating a man. Ebony was discovered by renowned musician and entrepreneur Bullet of Ruff ‘n’ Smooth fame when she sent a recording of her voice and was signed to his Rufftown record label just a day later. Shatta Wale has vowed never to perform at Denkyirah - Obuasi no matter what. And here's why!

Ghana’s King of Dancehall Charles Nii Armah popularly known as Shatta Wale has described Denkyira Obuasi as an evil town and has vowed never to step foot there. Denhyira Obuasi happens to be the town where the barbaric murder of innocent military officer Major Maxwell Adam Mahama took place and the “Kakai” hit maker said the town is a blood sucking village so there is no way he would to associate with them. Shatta who was speaking in an exclusive interview on Peace FM’s “Entertainment Review” insisted that no amount of money or security would make him go there. “I will never go! It been a while you read something about Abraham Attah right? I've got something interesting to tell you . Well, the "Breast of No Nation" star has made Ghana proud once again, he earned a 4.0 GPA score at the end of his first school year in the United States, and was presented with the Scholastic Improvement Award for his achievement. Director Zoey Martinson, who worked with the young actor on the award-winning war drama, ‘Beasts of No Nation’, shared the great news on Instagram saying: “So proud of this little nugget. Starting school in the USA for the first time and by the end of the year making honors and getting a 4.0!!! #SoProud #TheHam ” Abraham Attah  moved to the US last year to continue his education and career, and enrolled at the Cheshire Academy in Connecticut.

One of Ghana's finest broadcaster  Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi, known in media circles as Bola Ray, is set to ignite the pursuit of personal and entrepreneurial passions with the upcoming release of his official biography. It is Possible, the Bola Ray Story , penned by fellow Ghanaian Journalist, Obed Boafo, is a 320-page account of Bola Ray’s media industry rise over the past decades. Two years in the making, the author affords the reader candid insight into how the EIB Network CEO rose to become a towering figure in the media scene in and beyond Ghana. Tinny names Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and others as wack musicians in Ghana.

One of the early rappers' Ghana had, Nii Addo Quaynor,stage name Tinny, has called out names of musicians he thinks are wack. The Ga  rapper in an interview with Trigmatic on YFM on the #MydMorning Show was asked to list his top 5 wack Ghanaian artistes,  “They're many but they still have their fans. The wack ones are Jupitar, Shatta Wale, Samini, Stonebwoy and Edem.” He boomed.

Dumelo applauds Akufo Addo for honouring Major Mahama

Actor and businessman, John Dumelo has expressed gratitude to president Nana Akufo Addo for promoting the late soldier who was lynched by residence of Denkyira - Obuasi to the rank of Major. President Akufo Addo  announced the promotion on Monday evening when he visited the widow and grieving family of the late military officer who was lynched by residents of Denkyira-Obuasi in the Central Region a week ago on suspicion of being an armed robber. Dumelo, the diehard card baring member  of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in a post on micro blogging site, Twitter posted  “Late Captain Mahama promoted to the rank of Major. Thanks @NAkufoAddo. God bless you,”
