Okraku Mantey to sue Sarkodie for Kokooko song remake.

Music Producer Mark Okraku Mantey has disclosed why he has threaten to sue Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo real name, Sarkodie for sampling Daasebre Dyamena’s song Kokooko which he produced. Okraku-Mantey says he wants to seek redress in court to get the right thing done and not as a result of jealousy as some people believe. “Under normal circumstance if he had called me to say that he is doing Kokooko remake as a tribute to Daasebre, I would have just said ‘go ahead’. I want to hear it sound good or even better. The most important part of this whole thing is how it sounds funny. I didn’t hear anything from him only to see Jon Germain send me a link and when I opened it, I heard my song playing so after hearing my song play, I said at least show me some respect,” said Okraku-Mantey when he appeared as a panellist on Pundits on GhOneTV Tuesday evening. “I am the sampling master in this country so we know how this game plays. Sarkodie and EL reconcile.

Reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) artiste of the year EL and BET award winning rapper Sarkodie, have finally smoked the 'peace pipe' after they ‘beefed’ last year. The two rappers were battling for supremacy as to who is the hottest MC in Ghana.
Well, the two are now cool with each other. Sarkodie took to the micro blogging software Twitter, to disclose how he feels about the Bbnz recording act EL's Minaabo Po song.  To Sarkodie, the song is spiritual.

KKD schools Ghanaians about Plagiarism

Ace Ghanaian broadcaster, Kwasi Kyei Darkwa affectionately called KKD or 'The Finest' has joined forces who are calling on Ghanaians to 'cease fire' after   president Akufo-Addo's alleged plagiarized speech on his inauguration. The veteran broadcaster who is worried by the local backlash and international media negative reportage about our national ceremony: the speech-writer and plagiarism. In an article KKD wrote to the Ghanaian individuals his focus is to educate them about plagiarism and how to avoid them.

The vice-President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia who until this afternoon was stranded as to where his office residence will be. Earlier on the news was speculated that the official residence designated for vice presidents in Ghana is being occupied by the immediate past president John Mahama. He has served notice he want the house as his 'property' but that decision wasn't granted by the new administration. A statement, from the ex president camp said the vice-president is to take up the residence in the House known as Australia House, which was formerly occupied by former vice president Amissah-Arthur

Legendary producer and sound engineer, Da Hammer real name, Edward Nana Poku, CEO of The Last Two Music Group has said its hard time Ghanaians stopped the criticism nature trolling the president Addo Darkwa Akufo Addo for plagiarized speeches by ex US presidents George Bush and Bill Clinton. Hammer in a post on Facebook said, Ghanaians should rather  think about how they will retrieve Woyome's money and not trolling the president.

Lydia Forson has advised Ghanaians to support president Nana Akufo Addo and stop the criticisms

Outspoken Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson has added her voice to the alleged plagiarized speech by president Nana Addo Darkwa Akufo Addo during his inaugural speech at the Black Stars Square in Accra last Saturday. Critics alarmed that, part of the speech Nana Addo read was copied from ex US president, Bill Clinton and Nigeria president Buhari inaugural speech in the past. Lydia has advised Ghanaians to desist from trolling the just sworn in president since he now represent the nationand that, we should all come together and help him for its our duty to ensure the success of the government.
