2016 Gh Showbiz Under Review.

Tragedy, Awful and Celebration that's how we at ghnewsfilla describe the year under review. Well, the showbiz industry in Ghana this year recorded a number of stars passing away from comedian Bob Okala, Nkomode (Actor) George Forest (Sound engineer), Ebenezer Donkor (Katawere), Kofi Middleton (Actor) Daasebre Dwamena (Musician) Vibrant Faya (Musician), Danny Nartey (Musician), Gifty Temeng (Actress) among others. Celebrity beefs was on the raise it started with Shatta Wale and Samini to Shatta Wale and Criss Kwaku Waddle then to the beef that became topical issue.  Most celebrities counted their blessing and named it one after the other, most of the stars either got married, gave birth to a child or bought an expensive car or mansion. Let me detail you about the happenings in the year under review. We started the year with the indecent exposure case laid on rapper, Eugene Ashe well known as Wisa Greid. The news broke on December 25, 2015 that, Wisa Greid whiles performing at Citi FM'…

Ghanaian musician Guru, has been most visible And relevant hiplife artist in 2016. He performed in almost all the major shows - Report claims

Ever since Guru emerged into the music scene strongly with Obrafour on the Kasiebo smash hit song some years back, the rap artiste who really defines Hiplife music in Ghana has never looked back. Although he had registered his name with other hit tracks like Democracy and Mmaa kuo, his delivery and authority on the Kasiebo song catapulted him to higher pedestal, especially when the song came across as “diss” song to Okyeame Kwame the Rap Dacta. Any discussion that seeks to review who is having a hit song in the system has never been done without a mention of Guru`s name in it. As artistes struggle to make hits in the industry to facilitate them enjoy the gigs and the shows that assure an artiste’s survival and relevance, Guru seems to have the secret of making hits. He has never been missing in action when it comes to providing hit songs. At least songs like; Samba, Me Baa Be Tea Wo, Pooley Swag, Are You Aware and others are still in the system to remind us of his efforts. He has released q…
