Kwaw Kese chooses Nana Addo over president Mahama!

Multiple award winning hip hop/ hip life  act Kwaw Kese has in a press release today stated that, he will vote for the apposition New Patriotic Party's flag bearer Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo.
This doesn't come in as a surprise as big winks in the showbiz industry has already aired their stance.
We are yet to see if he will mount a platform and campaign for the NPP or will only vote for NPP come December 7th election.

Strongman Burner joins list of graduates artistes!

It's vacation day we are going away to see our parents home. Boys and girls shouting and dance... Hahaha chale hope I got the lyrics right ? This is the song dynamic super talented  Ghanaian rappern Strongman Burner would be singing  by now.
Well, Vincent Kwaku Osei popularly known as Strongman Burner winner of GhOne's Next Big Thing reality show has successfully graduated from the University of Cape Coast ( UCC). Strongman drew the curtain down from school today September 23, 2016 after four years of studying Bachelor of Management Studies. The rapper after graduation took to his Facebook fan page to share his joy and thanked God for the success. Strongman Burner has joined fellow musicians who has also graduated University including the likes of Sarkodie, Stonebwoy,MzbelEl,L Sonnie Badu and many others Ralph Adams.

I will not endorse any political party but... - Shatta Wale

Multiple award winning dancehall act Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr known in showbiz circles as Shatta Wale has finally cleared the air about his stance concerning him endorsing the NDC with his 'Mahama paper' hit song.
Early today [September 23, 2016] the 'Election time' hitmaker wrote on his Facebook wall he is not into any political party but if any party contract him he will gladly take the offer and perform.
" Am not into any political party but if any party calls me to come and perform i will because to perform is my job..Its business!!!! Dont play with your work..."
Later in the day, he again wrote it's the political season so therefore he is ready to preach peace on any political party and that, he is a performer and will entertain their followers.

Actor Majid Michel Turns 35 Today!

Multiple award winning Ghanaian actor Majid Michel celebrate his 35 years on this planet earth today. He was born to a Lebanese father and Ghanaian mother  in Cantonments, a suburb of the Ghanaian capital Accra. he grew up in Accra with his nine siblings. He attended St. Theresa’s Primary School, and later, the Mfantsipim School, the alma mater of Van Vicker and also of former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan . In secondary school, Michel was actively involved in theater and was a member of the school’s Drama Club. As a member of the drama club, he received a Best Actor Award in one of their performances on Emancipation Day in Cape Coast, Ghana.

All the fan base of the hip hip act were present including the #SarkNation, #TeamSark #SarkNatives,  Stonebwoy's 'BhimNation , Samini's High-grade Family, music group Dunsin, AMG Business and some friends of Sarkodie in the media showed their love to the 'Take it  back' hitmaker.

Sad News : Omanhene Pozo passes away!

Confirmed information reaching us at ghnewsfilla here indicate that,  Ghanaian hiplife sensation Omahene Pozo has passed away
Omanhene Pozo was a Ghanaian hiplife musician who was originally part of Nananom, one of the very first hiplife groups in Ghana. He has subsequently had a successful solo career, following a trend of reproducing old-school highlife hits which has given them. 
The 'Wasei' hitmaker was on admission at the Neuro Surgical Ward of the 37 Military Hospital, and was soliciting for funds that will enable him to undergo a surgery that will remove tumor from his brain has passed away.

It’s been a big year for Ghanaian music worldwide, and it’s time to celebrate that. How Social Media users lambasted Celebrity Blogger Gh Kwaku for asking if Sarkodie would ever go broke if he quit music!

Well, like the mentioning of hippopotamus which can scare a Ghanaian child. Social media users slammed celebrity blogger Gh Kwaku of for asking on his Facebook page if Sarkodie would ever go broke if he quit music. 
The fans of the celebrity blogger didn't take it as simple as he thought he was engaging them and keeping his page busy. 
Gh Kwaku shared Sarkodie's photo on yesterday September 19, 2016 and captioned it, Would Sarkodie ever go broke if he quit music? A post which attracted 575 post likes and 65 comments. 
A Facebook user by name Adjoa Papabi wrote

Astute actor, director and businessman John Dumelo has hinted on venturing into livestock production and being the largest rearer in West Africa.
According to him, it's his dream, so he will start it small and shoot up to the top. In a Facebook post, the actor shared a photo of himself standing in the feeding grounds of cattle and wrote

A-Plus blasts NDC members who carried a coffin with Nana Addo's Pictures during their manifesto launch [Read what he said]

Controversial Ghanaian musician A-Plus has reprehended members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) who carried a coffin with pictures of the NPP's flag bearer Nana Akufo Addo's pictures, to preach something better to Ghanaians than carrying the coffin. 
In a facebook  post via his fan page the musician who has been campaigning for the NPP said, 
"Tell Ghanaians what plan you have for us for the next 4 years you are carrying a coffin with Nana Addo's pictures"
He again went further and advised them to rather  do any emblem of Nana Addo and note it in their green book.(Green book, - a book which contains achievements of the NDC government)

CEO of Madtime records Emmanuel Botchwey known in showbiz circles  as Kwaw Kese ( Abodam, The man Insane) is set to outdoor a talents hunt show called 'Streetism',
According to the 'Yakubu' hitmaker he will pick the talents on the street. In a video he shared on social media it was seen that, two children on the street rapping to flatters him and wrote this in addition.

Secular Artistes Uses Black Magic - Music Group

Dunsin  Akuapim based musicians, one great group of all time have attributed their downfall and absence in the music scene to Africa Magic 'Juju'.

In an exclusive friendly interview they granted with Pope Skinny, the 'OyeAdieYie'  hitmakers said, their spiritual  father told them and they have also testified, their colleagues acts worked 'juju' against them.
"I remember we went to TV3 to grant an interview, after we were billed to perform at Oman FM event so we head there with KKD. It was music group 4x4 which were performing after, we were called on stage to cheer the fans up, the shouts and support the fans gave us was overwhelming. It was our first stage performance though."
He added
"We got the microphone entertaining the fans, suddenly, I felt a pain in my hand-- the hand holding the microphone. I complained to a fellow whiles still on stage, but still managed to climaxed the performance. Immediately, we left the stage the pain went off."
